This accredited two-day course, approved by the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (IPHM), is designed for Level 2 qualified therapists who wish to develop the specialist skills expected within luxury spas, wellness centres, and retreats. Combining advanced body treatments with professional spa protocols, this course will equip you with the knowledge and practical experience to confidently deliver premium body rituals that enhance both relaxation and skin health.

During the theory sessions, you will explore the benefits and indications of spa body treatments, client consultation and treatment planning, contraindications, product knowledge, exfoliation methods, body wrap techniques, thermal therapies, health and safety, hygiene, treatment preparation, and professional aftercare. You will also gain an understanding of how to combine treatments to create a luxurious spa experience tailored to individual client needs.

Over two practical training days, you will learn three signature spa treatments:

• A full-body polishing treatment to exfoliate, smooth, and revitalise the skin.

• A nourishing body wrap designed to hydrate, detoxify, and promote deep relaxation.

• A back treatment combining deep cleansing, exfoliation, mask application, massage, and hydration to leave the skin refreshed and renewed.

Throughout the course, you will refine your practical techniques, treatment flow, client care, and therapist body mechanics while learning how to create a seamless, high-end spa experience from consultation through to aftercare.

By the end of the course, you will have the skills, confidence, and professional knowledge to incorporate luxurious spa body treatments into your treatment menu and enhance your career opportunities within spas, wellness centres, hotels, and retreat settings. Upon successful completion, you will receive an IPHM-accredited certificate, enabling you to obtain professional insurance (subject to your insurer's individual requirements) and begin offering these specialist treatments to clients.
