With over 20 years of experience in the beauty and complementary therapy industry, I’ve had the pleasure of working in a wide range of settings—from renting treatment rooms and working in hair and beauty salons, to delivering therapies in luxury spa environments. My passion for the industry led me to gain my teaching qualification over five years ago, and since then I’ve enjoyed teaching complementary therapies in further education colleges. I’m also a qualified assessor and currently working towards my Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) qualification. I believe in lifelong learning and make it a priority to complete at least one new course each year to keep my skills and knowledge up to date. Alongside my part-time role supporting apprentices in college, I dedicate my spare time to causes close to my heart—I volunteer at Jackson’s Animal Sanctuary and serve as a Brown Owl for my local Brownie group, and also support a local women's charity on the Wirral. There I provide treatments and wellbeing support for women who are facing difficult circumstances or simply need time to rest and reconnect. I’m passionate about helping others grow and feel their best, whether that's through treatments, education, or community work.
