(2 days)

This accredited two-day course, approved by the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (IPHM), provides comprehensive training in the art and science of Japanese Head Spa treatments. Suitable for both qualified and non-qualified therapists, this course combines in-depth theory with extensive hands-on practical training, equipping you with the knowledge and confidence to deliver a luxurious and results-driven treatment.
The course includes a comprehensive theory module that covers extensive Anatomy & Physiology (A&P), trichology, scalp and hair conditions, consultation techniques, contraindications, health and safety, treatment protocols, product knowledge, client aftercare, and business considerations for introducing Japanese Head Spa into your treatment menu.
Over two practical training days, you will learn every aspect of the Japanese Head Spa experience, including client consultation, scalp analysis, cleansing techniques, exfoliation, massage sequences, water therapy, treatment rituals, product application, treatment flow, client comfort, and the complete Japanese Head Spa protocol. You will have ample opportunity to practise each technique, enabling you to develop confidence and refine your skills.
Training can be delivered at your own spa or salon, allowing you and your team to learn in a familiar environment with minimal disruption to your business. This flexible approach is ideal for salons, spas, and wellness centres wishing to introduce Japanese Head Spa as a premium treatment offering.
By the end of the course, you will have the knowledge, practical skills, and confidence to perform a complete Japanese Head Spa treatment safely and professionally. Upon successful completion, you will receive an IPHM-accredited certificate, enabling you to obtain professional insurance (subject to your insurer's individual requirements) and begin offering this luxurious treatment to clients.
